Stuttgart Selection

The film is running in the international competition in this year's Internationales Trickfilm Festival in Stuttgart!

Screenings in Berlin, Paris and San Francisco

Lots of screenings happening in the next weeks: Furtiva Lagrima will play at the Berlinale in February as part of the program Culinary Cinema. It has also been selected in a showcase of selected international shorts from Clermont-Ferrand Shortfilm Festival presented at the MK2 Quai-de-Seine in Paris on February 12th. Last but not least, the film will be part of the Opening Night of the Disposable Film Festival on March 21st at..... the fucking Castro theater in San Francisco, a 10 minutes walk from my house!

Festival Update #2

November has been a good month so far :
the film won the Audience Award at the MOLODIST Festival in Kiev,
the Special Prize at the ANIMAX Skopje Fest in Macedonia,
 and the Best short short award at the BRADFORD Animation Festival.

Big news: The film will be featured in this year's
Animation Show of Shows, which will be touring
Animation Studios and Art Schools all over the US
in the coming weeks.

The film was projected last week at the Art Murmur in Oakland, as part of the screening of shortfilms on "The Great Wall of Oakland".

Festival Update

Festival update : Ottawa was a blast, but no awards for the singing fish.... On the other hand, the film just won the Grand Prize at Anima Syros in Greece, the Special Jury award at Animanima in Serbia, and the Grand Prix at Neum NAFF in Bosnia.
